Conditioning of waste gas
Before the waste gas can be actually channeled to the biological filter, particles and aerosols must first be precipitated through the respective washing stages. The waste gas has to be humidified to saturation. In order to regulate the temperature before the washing stage begins, heat exchangers can be used to deduct or add additional energy to the gas flow.

Biological filter
The biological filter consists of either standardized container units or is a flat bed filter. Substances to be filtered flow vertically through the fixed bed filter material. The contaminants dissolve through the concentration gradients into the water film of the filter material, thereby initiating microbial degradation. The driving concentration gradient that carries forward the contaminants remains during this process. 

Filter material
The organic filter material used consists of raw growing material and, in its very nature, contains a broad spectrum of micro-organisms. An optimal filter material is chosen to suit the application, ensuring stability of structure, water retention properties and a supply of nutrients from various raw materials.

End products
To ensure the biological degradation of contaminants, only natural filter material is used. The end product essentially only consists of carbon dioxide and water and is a biological mass or compost. 

Flad bed filter
The economical alternative. Its design embodies a concrete base slab with vinyl side walls and an outer covering of plastic foil.
