Production:
Approx. 1,800 filter units and plants are manufactured in the main production facility in Tuttlingen each year. This involves the use of high-grade steel, stainless steel and synthetic materials. The production facility in Wehingen (which is a wholly-owned subsidiary and has approx. 20 employees) is where the latest machine tools are used to produce semi-finished products and modules (see http://www.handte-laser.de/ The Handte facility in Slovenia is where special-purpose constructions and steel-ducting systems are produced.

Research facilities:
Hauptwerk HANDTE - Tuttlingen, for laboratory-based and technical-measurement-based studies and analysis. Collaboration with Plasma Air, of Weil der Stadt, for special odour-related and process-technology-related tasks. Collaboration with Ingenieurbüro Okamex, of Stuttgart, on investigatory examinations of air pollution control and flow mechanics. Depending on the research to be undertaken, tasks are divided within the framework of a collaborative partnership, with, for example, the research departments of the University of Karlsruhe and/or the University of Stuttgart.

Service companies:
Handte Tewis, of Ohlsbach, with a team of approx. 60 - 70 assemblers and erection supervisors, is on hand to carry out erection and maintenance work. Plasma Air, of Weil der Stadt, or Tübingen-based Institut Dr. Jäger, for measurement-based work on site and elaborations. For immission-test surveys, carried out in accordance with BimSchG ("Federal Immission Regulation Law"), we have a close relationship going back over many years with Reinluft Umwelttechnik, of Stuttgart. Handte works together with renowned companies to remove pollutants or to exploit resources, or can get in touch with a company of your choosing.
